Make 2016 Your Best Year Yet!

In the Time to Reflect on 2015 enews from Dec. 9th, I posed questions for your reflection on 2015. Take a look at your notes and begin to consider what you really want for yourself personally and professionally in the coming year. Remember the conversation from Alice in Wonderland, "If you don't know where you are going, any path can take you there. As a successful professional, you are probably already astute at setting work related goals. Many people are less successful at setting and attaining personal goals because there isn't someone else holding them accountable. Take some time, a refreshing beverage and think about the following questions. Ideally, jot down your answers so you can reflect on them throughout the year.

• How are you at setting and achieving personal goals?
• What is one thing you can do to be even better at this in 2016?
• What will bring you peace, prosperity and happiness in the coming year?
• Who is most important to spent precious time with?
• What career goals do you aspire to?
• What steps can you take in 2016 toward those goals?
• Where do you want to focus your efforts and energies?
• What would your ideal life and career look like?
• What values are most important to you?
• How are you living from your values?
• Are you the person you want to be?
• When you reflect back next December, what would you truly like to have accomplished?
